Recent researches on Food Habits, have revealed that:-
“If you crave some particular food items which are considered unhealthy, it will indicate that your body requires some nutrients, which can be obtained from some healthy food items.
If you are fond of:-
Chocolates, (which are normally good for health, but unhealthy if taken in excess) it indicates that your body requires Magnesium, which can be obtained by having raw nuts and seeds, legumes and fruits.
Sweets, (unhealthy, especially to people with Diabetes/Pre-diabetes, and for obese people) it indicates that your body requires:-
- Chromium, which can be obtained from:- Broccoli, grapes, cheese, dried beans, calves liver, chicken.
- Carbon, which can be obtained from fresh fruits.
- Phosphorus, which can be obtained from chicken, beef, liver, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, nuts, legumes and grains.
- Sulphur, which can be obtained from cranberries, horse-radish, cruciferous vegetables, kale and cabbage.
- Tryptophan, which can be obtained from cheese, liver, lamb, raisins, sweet potato and spina.
Bread/ Toast, (unhealthy for Diabetes patients) it indicates that your body requires Nitrogen, which can be obtained from high protein food items such as fish, meat, nuts and beans.
Oily snacks/ fatty foods, (unhealthy for obese people, heart patients and ulcer patients) it means that your body requires Calcium, which can be obtained from mustard and turnip greens, broccoli, kale, legumes, cheese and sesame.
Coffee/ tea, (unhealthy if taken in excess) it means that your body requires:-
- Phosphorous, which can be obtained from chicken, beef, liver, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, nuts and legumes.
