Nowadays, many people are having excess abdominal fat.
The persons having excess abdominal fat only think that their abdominal fat is simply ugly and visible, and makes them self conscious about showing off their body.
In fact, excess abdominal fat is not only ugly, but also is risky to their health.
Scientific research has clearly determined that although it is unhealthy in general to have excess body fat throughout the body, it is particularly dangerous to have excess abdominal fat.
There are two types or layers of fat we have in our abdominal area:-
The first type that covers up our abs which is visible, is called subcutaneous fat and lies directly beneath the skin and on top of the abdominal muscles.
The second type of fat that we you have in our abdominal area is called visceral fat, and that lies deeper in the abdomen beneath our muscle and surrounding our organs.
Visceral fat also plays a role in giving certain men a “beer belly” appearance where their abdomen protrudes excessively and also hard to push on.
Both subcutaneous fat and visceral fat in the abdominal area are serious health risk factors, but science has shown that having excessive visceral fat is even more dangerous than subcutaneous fat. Both of them greatly increase our risk of developing:-
- heart disease,
- diabetes,
- high blood pressure,
- stroke,
- sleep disorders,
- various forms of cancer and
- other degenerative diseases.
Another reason why the visceral fat is dangerous is that it apparently releases more inflammatory molecules into our body on a consistently.
If we care about the quality of our life and our loved ones, reducing our abdominal fat should be one of our top priorities.
First of all, we must understand that there is absolutely no instant solution for the abdominal fat problem.
There are no pills or supplements of any sort to help us to lose our abdominal fat quickly.
The only solution to consistently lose our abdominal fat and keep it off for good is to combine a sound strategic nutritious diet full of unprocessed natural foods with a properly designed exercise program that stimulates the necessary hormonal and metabolic response within our body. Both our food intakes as well as our exercise program are important if we are to get this right.
We must take a decision at the earliest to reduce the dangerous abdominal fat and begin a combined program of raw food-ism and regular exercises.
