Good-Bye to MJ the King of Pop

The funeral and memorial function of Michael Jackson, the demised King of Pop were held in a grand manner on 7th July 2009 at Los Angeles. In the Memorial Service and the funeral function of Michael Jackson:-

• Berry Gordy, who signed The Jacksons- 5 in 1968 paid his tribute to MJ and said that Michael Jackson was the greatest entertainer that ever lived.

• Michael Jackson’s casket sat in front of the stage.

• The Jackson brothers, Randy, Marlon, Jackie, Jermaine and Tito, accompanied the casket.

• Singer Lionel Richie performed.

• Musician Stevie Wonder performed.

• Mariah Carey and Trey Lorenz sang “I’ll Be There”.

• The funeral procession of Michael Jackson arrived at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

• Supported by her family, Paris Jackson spoke.

• Andrae Crouch Singers opened the memorial service.

• Paris Jackson, Prince Michael Jackson I and Prince Michael Jackson II were on stage.

• Members of the media worked in front of the Staples Center.

• The funeral procession, including a hearse carrying the body of Michael Jackson at center, arrived outside Staples Center.
