Sister Prema, In-Charge of Missionaries of Charities- Kolkata awarded Germany’s “Order of Merit” Award

Mother Teresa was leading the Missionaries of Charity(MOC) Kolkata and after Mother Teresa Sister Nirmala was in-charge of MOC.Sister Prema of German origin is now looking after the MOC Kolkata. Sister Nirmala has been nominated for “Order of Merit” of the German State of North Rhine Westphalia.This award is being given to Sister Prema for her courage and dedication to work relentlessly for the poor and downtrodden, as well as her work to eradicate poverty.The award will be handed over to Sister Prema by Germany’s Deputy Consul General in Kolkata Mr.Klaus Tesch at a function at Kolkata on 21st October 2009.
