Guinness Book of World Records has appreciated the achievement of Mr.Singh at the age of 100 years.

Singh will be the “Oldest Marathon Runner” in the Guinness Book of World Records, subject to proper ‘Age Proof’ of Mr. Singh.

Mr. Singh, a Punjabi Farmer moved to Britain in the year 1992, has got his Passport as his “Age Proof’. And as per his passport the Date of Birth of Mr. Singh is 1st April 1911.

However, the Guinness Book of World Records has since refused to record Mr.Singh’s achievement in their book of records for want of a copy of the Original Birth Certificate of Mr. Singh. The Passport may be taken as a supporting document for age proof and only the birth certificate is the key evidence.

According to the trainer of Mr. Singh, the original birth certificate of Mr. Singh is not available and the “Guinness” is not inclined to accept any other evidence towards age proof of Mr. Singh.

Birth Certificate is very important for “age proof” for any matter. Check up your Birth Certificate and preserve it.
