In the recently concluded “Airtel- Super Singer Junior -3”- , so called, Thamizhagathin Chellakuralukkana Thedal /The Search for the Tender Voice of Tamil Nadu,
the following 5 Junior Singers entered the Finals:
- Baby-Pragathi Guruprasad,from USA, studying in 9th Standard,
- Baby-Sukanya,
- Master.Gowtham a native of Tuticorin, presently residing at Chennai,
- Master.Aajeedh Khalique native of Tiruchirappalli studying in 6th Standard and
- Baby-.Yazhini, from Chennai, studying in 6th Standard.
Pragathi, Sukanya and Gowtham entered the ‘Finals’ directly.
Aajeedh Khalique and Yazhini, had been eliminated by the ‘Semi Finals’.
They entered the ‘Finals’ by contesting in the ‘wild card round’ and being selected by voting by viewers via SMS and Online Voting.
‘The Grand Finale’ of the ‘AirTel Super Singer 3’ was held at Nehru Indoor Stadium on 26th October 2012, Friday from 06 30 pm to 27th October 2012, 02 00 am with “Isai Puyal” – A.R.Rahman as the Chief Guest.
Based on:
- a private poll conducted,
- past public voting and
- marks given by the judges,
the following Junior Singers became the winners of the “AirTel –Super Singer Junior -3”:
Aajeedh Khalique,became the – Super Singer Junior-3- Title Winner-
and Received a 3 Bed Room Villa House at Temple Green Township of Arun Excello Group,
worth Rs 60 Lakhs, and a Rs 1 Lakh -Scholarship and
Pragathi Guruprasad became the SECOND /Runner- winning Jewels worth Rs 5 Lakhs,
Yazhini secured the THIRD place- winning Rs 3 Lakhs
Sukanya secured the FOUTH place – winning Rs 2 Lakhs and
Gowtham secured the FIFTH place- winning Rs 2 Lakhs.
