Will ” Ulaga Nayagan” Kamal Hassan Release His Film “Viswaroopam” in DTH ?

Just one month ahead of the scheduled release of  his ‘Viswaroopam’, Kamal Hassan has expressed his wish to release the film simultaneously in the theatres and in Direct To Home/DTH/ Televisions.

Kamal Hassan wishes to release his film in DTH on 11th January 2013, eight hours ahead of the scheduled release .

The President of the Tamilnadu Theatre Owners’s Association Mr. Abirami Ramanathan had detailed discussions on Kamal’s unique proposal of releasing his film in DTH.

According to Kamal Hassan, the first show on the DTH, proposed for a fee would actually attract more audiences to the theatres.

However, the theatre owners are not convinced of Kamal’s idea of releasing the fim in DTH- Platform.

The Theatre owners have requested Kamal Hassan to reconsider his idea of releasing his film in DTH.

You will have to wait and see if Kamal Hassan would release his ‘Viswaroopam’ in DTH.
