• Founder of  “Dravidar Kazhagam”/DK- a party with ideologies of anti- Brahmanism, anti-Hinduism/gods & goddesses /ceremonies/rituals/superstitions etc. and the party vehemently fought for the abolition of ” Untouchability “ and  focused its attention on the liberation of women, women’s education, willing marriage, widow marriage, orphanages and mercy homes. From “Dravidar Kazhagam”/DK many more Dravidian Parties such as “Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam”/DMK, “All India Anna Drivida Munnetra Kazhalgam/AIADMK etc. emerged as  strong opposition parties to the ” Indian National Congress”. DMK and AIADMK have become alternative ruling parties in the state of Tamilnadu since the year 1967 till date.
