List of “Passport Seva Kendras”/PSK’s in India

As recommended by the National Institute of Smart Government/NISG, the Government of India set up 77 ‘Passport Seva Kendras’/PSK’s under the jurisdictions of the 38 passport offices.

 In the new ‘Passport Seva Project’all non-sensitive front end functions will be handled by a  private Service Provider (Tata Conultancy Services/TCS)  and all the critical sovereign roles and responsibilities will be held by the Government functionaries.

The following is the list of the 77 Passport Seva Kendras functioning since January 2011:-

Out of the 77 Passport Seva Kendras/PSK’s, 68 are located within the Passport Office and /or in other Districts within the Jurisdiction of the Passport Office and 9 PSK’s are co-located with the Passport Offices.

In addition to the above 77 Passport Seva Kendras/PSK’s under partnership with private agency, the Government of India has set up 16 mini passport offices/Passport Seva Laghu Kendras/PSLK’s under the direct responsibility of the Passport Offices.
