Cinema Play Back Singer- P.B.Srinivas has sung about 3000 songs mainly in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil and also in Hindi, Malayalam, Tulu and Konkani movies.
Career of P.B.Srinivas
In the year 1952 P.B.Sreenivas sang duets with Geeta Dutt, Shamshad Begum and Jikki in the Hindi movie-‘Mr.Sampat’.
The first duet song ‘Aji Hum Bharat Ki Naari’ sung by P.B.Srinivas along with Geeta Dutt ti the Hindi movie ‘Mr.Sampat’, based on R.K.Naryan’s novel became a hit.
Then P.B.Srinivas started singing in Telugu, Kannada and Tamil movies.
However, P.B.Srinivas has sung most of his songs in Kannada and obviously most of his hit songs are in Kannada.
In Kannada P.B.Srinivas has sung many hit songs for the ‘Kannada Super Star’ Dr.Rajkumar and Dr.Vishnuvardhan.
P.B.Srinivas was called ‘the Voice of Rajkumar’ in the Kannada Cinema Filed.
The Cinema Play Back Singer-P.B.Srinivas was also a poet and he has written poems in many languages such as,Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, English, Sanskrit and Urdu and also in English.

“Dr.Rajkumar Souhardha Award”-by the Karnataka Super Star Dr.Rajkumar’s family
